We previously announced the release of a feature in Teams via a Message Center post: MC792605 - Microsoft Teams: Auto-create Microsoft Loop workspaces to share meeting content. We shared that Teams meeting organizers of recurring meetings will be prompted in chat to create a Loop workspace after their meeting is completed. The feature helps users gather shared meeting content into a Loop workspace.

In response to your feedback, we are improving the ability for you to control this feature through Microsoft 365 Cloud Policy.

Microsoft Viva Engage: Unregistered users in an external network will not receive community emails MC928016 Published Nov 8, 2024

When an external network participant is invited to join a Microsoft Viva Engage external network, they receive an invitation email with an option to accept. Before this configuration change, all invited external users receive community conversations and emails, even if their invitation is in a pending or inactive state, allowing them to receive updates without completing registration. An E5 license is required to use this feature.

After this change, pending or inactive users will no longer receive community conversations or emails unless they accept the invitation and complete the registration process. This change prioritizes active engagement, ensuring only registered users access conversation updates and reducing the volume of emails sent to non-registered users. External users who have activated their accounts will receive conversations and community emails.

We will begin rolling out this change early December 2024 and expected to complete by early January 2025. Extensions will not be provided for this configuration change.

Microsoft Viva Insights: Admins assign delegate access MC925394 Published Nov 4, 2024

Coming soon for Microsoft Viva Insights: Admins (global admins or Insights admins) will be able to assign or remove delegates for a manager, using Microsoft PowerShell cmdlets.

Before this rollout, only managers can assign delegates.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 464207.

Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out mid-November 2024 and expect to complete by late November 2024.

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early January 2025 and expect to complete by late January 2025.
