Microsoft Teams: Swap screens on Teams Rooms

Coming soon to Microsoft Teams Rooms on
Android: As an admin, you can configure dual display mode and swap the screens
of dual display devices using device settings and the Teams admin center. This
feature allows you to deliberately set the display mode of your device and also
to fix reversed display installations remotely and at scale, enhancing your
device management capabilities. A Teams Rooms Pro license is required for this
feature.

Microsoft Teams: New calendar experience

Coming soon to Microsoft Teams. The New
Calendar app aims to provide a single, modern, intelligent, and coherent
calendar for both Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook users. This new opt-in
experience will be available in Teams, allowing users to toggle to the New
Calendar interface. This message applies to Teams on Windows and Mac desktops.

Microsoft Teams: Meeting organizers can turn
off copying of captions, transcript and recap MC908115

Coming soon: Meeting organizers with eligible
licenses will have a Meeting option control called Turn off copying and
forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcript. When this control is
enabled, meeting participants won’t be able to copy the meeting chat, live
captions, live transcript, or any insights generated from intelligent meeting
recap. This message applies to tenants with Teams Premium licenses on Teams for
Windows desktop, Mac desktop, Teams on the web, and Teams for Android/iOS.

Microsoft Mesh app on Meta Quest headsets
supports hand interactions MC907538

Microsoft Mesh app users on Meta Quest 2, 3,
and Pro headsets will be able to use their hands to use the app, move around in
event environments, and interact with objects. Motion controllers will continue
to be supported, and users can switch between using controllers or their hands
while using the app. A tutorial on how to use hand interactions can be found in
Menu -> Help -> Hand tutorial in the Quest Mesh app. The tutorial will
also play when hand usage is detected for the first time during a meeting or
event session in the Mesh app. To use the feature in Mesh, hand tracking on
Quest device needs to be turned on via Settings -> Movement settings.

Microsoft Teams: Admin email support for
"Report a problem" on Teams Rooms on Android MC907108

Android: As an admin, you can configure an email address for receiving issues
submitted by users through the Report a problem feature on Teams Rooms on
Android devices. The email address can be set through device settings or the
Teams admin center. This feature will allow you to collect logs and feedback
directly from your device Teams Rooms on Android devices, enhancing your
ability to triage, respond, and escalate issues as needed.

Microsoft Teams: Virtual Appointment meeting
template SMS notifications will soon support the Netherlands MC906486

The existing SMS appointment notifications
feature (available to meeting organizers with a Microsoft Teams Premium
license) in the Virtual Appointment Teams meeting template will soon support
phone numbers in the Netherlands. The Netherlands country code will now appear
in the phone number country code drop-down menu in the scheduling form, and
appointment confirmation, reminder, updates, and cancellations will be
supported for the Netherlands phone numbers. There is no change to the SMS
notification behavior.

Microsoft Viva Pulse: New Pulse tenant admin
dashboard for users with Pulse admin access MC907535

Human Resources and IT departments need a way
to track user telemetry and usage to ensure that Microsoft Viva Pulse is being
used effectively and has a strong return on investment. They also want to identify
any issues related to user adoption that hinder the rollout of Pulse in an
organization. With the rollout of the tenant admin dashboard, Pulse admins will
be able to visualize usage metrics in their tenant. This rollout will include
metrics such as total pulses sent, response rate per pulse, and responses per
pulse.
