Quick Conflict Peek when you RSVP on Calendar

We are expanding the RSVP dialog box with
scheduling form. The users will now see their meeting schedule in snippet
window indicating the conflicting slots, while taking any RSVP actions.

early December 2023 and expect to complete by mid-December 2023.
Remove Activity Feed Item in New Teams MC692466 · Published Nov 22, 2023
This feature will enable Teams users to
delete/remove items from activity feed.

The Remove functionality can be found under the
ellipsis menu in the activity feed:
After an activity feed item is removed, the
user is informed through a toast notification.
Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out
mid-December 2023 and expect to complete by late December 2023.

early February 2024 and expect to complete by mid-February 2024.
Microsoft Teams: Domain-specific search MC692025

Users will be able to narrow down their search
results and find what they are looking for faster. Get more precise search
results by picking up a specific domain like files, group chat or Teams. You
can find domain specific results by typing a person’s name also.

Microsoft Teams - Teams app on Teams Rooms
on Android and paired Touch Consoles to be updated in sync MC692021

With this feature, the Teams app updates will
happen in sync for Microsoft Teams Rooms (Android) and their paired touch
consoles. This will be applicable for both manual and automatic updates done
from Teams admin center.

Microsoft Viva: Viva Goals Export APIs MC692465 · Published Nov 22, 2023
Customers will be able to programmatically
export Viva Goals data in an Explorer View via Microsoft Graph APIs. Today,
customers must manually export the data in an Explorer View.

REMINDER: Viva Pulse Customization Control

The customization control in the Viva Pulse
Admin Experience will soon be managed through centralized feature access
management in Viva through PowerShell. This customization control provides
admins the ability to turn on or off customization capabilities for survey
authors to add their own questions to existing stock templates or edit existing
stock questions. With centralized feature access management, admins can
configure access at the tenant level, group level (using AAD groups or M365
Groups), or at the user level, for maximum flexibility.
These changes are rolling out and expected to
be completed by early December 2023.
Viva Goals - Custom Terminology MC692020 · Published Nov 20, 2023
The goals term customization feature allows
organization admins to customize terminology used in Viva Goals. Now, program
owners can run goal programs using nomenclature that best suits their
organization. Terms such as OKRs, Objectives, Key Results and Initiatives can
be customized in the admin settings.

Viva Pulse – Teams Chat Notifications Requires
Latest Viva Pulse Teams App Version MC692018 · Published Nov 20, 2023
In addition to email and Teams Activity feed
notifications, Viva Pulse will begin to deliver notifications through Teams
Chat. Users will only receive Teams Chat notifications if they have the latest
Viva Pulse Teams app version installed (Version 1.0.9 or higher). As the admin,
you can do the following to ensure users receive Teams Chat notifications:
- Create a Teams app setup policy to install the latest Viva Pulse Teams app version for users in
your tenant.
- Encourage users on old Microsoft Teams to select Upgrade in the
banner at the top of the page when they visit the Viva Pulse Teams app.
- Encourage users on new Microsoft Teams to select Apps on the left
side of Teams, Manage your apps at the bottom left of the screen, and
Update next to Viva Pulse.
Through the Viva Pulse chatbot, Teams Chat
notifications will be sent for the following scenarios:
- Welcome message when the tenant admin installs the Viva Pulse app
on users in the tenant and the user installs the Viva Pulse app from the
Teams app store.
- The feedback author creates a Pulse request where recipients can
respond inline in the Teams Chat notification or respond in the Viva Pulse
Teams app.
- The feedback author shares a Pulse report.
- The feedback author’s Pulse is closed.
