Announcement!
In the
blog post Delivering new webinar experiences
with Microsoft Teams Microsoft announced an integration (plugin) for the Elgato Stream Deck
and Microsoft Teams. There have been a lot of buzz around this news this week.
"With the new Elgato Stream Deck plugin integration with Teams, you can now easily manage and control functions directly in a Teams meeting and webinar with a touch of a button. By programming custom keys on the Elgato Stream Deck device for some of the most widely used, common features in Teams, you’ll be able to manage controls more seamlessly, ensure you never get stuck on mute again, and remember to leave the event once it’s done."
I got my own Stream Deck this week, but unfortunately the Teams plugin was removed from Elgatos store, hopefully it is just some minor bug fixing needed and I will be able to test this cool piece of hardware soon in a Teams meeting. Looks really promising anyhow!

(Updated) Quick Access Teams and Sharepoint
Document Libraries in win32 backstage MC432475
· Published Sep 16, 2022 · Last updated Feb 2, 2023
Updated February 2, 2023: We have updated the
rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.
Currently, users experience some frustration
when using Office products because of all different routes that they must use
to access all their content. The Quick Access feature will allow users to
access shared libraries from both their SharePoint and Teams locations. When
the user opens files from shared libraries, these libraries will show up in the
form of a list which will encourage users to save and open files to these
libraries with ease. This helps deliver a more consistent, coherent storage
location experience across M365 apps. This new backstage experience won’t show
up in Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive but does include storage locations from
OneDrive and Teams (sites/channels) which are stored on SharePoint.
Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out
early April and expect to complete by late April.
Standard Release: We will begin rolling out
late June and expect to complete by late July.

model for receiving all messages, originally developed for Microsoft Teams

(Updated) View the Full Chat conversation
thread after clicking on search message results MC428512
· Published Sep 9, 2022 · Last updated Jan 31, 2023
Updated January 31, 2023: We have updated the
rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.
When users search for a chat message in Teams
and click on a message result, they are taken to a view that contains only the
selected message, rather than the entire chat thread. This fix will now land
the users on the full chat thread once the message search result is clicked,
thereby providing full context of the conversation around the message result.
The feature will be rolling out for Teams
Desktop and Web clients and is applicable to message results on the SERP page
and the contextual search surfaces.

Today, when admins enable this policy for an
